Coffee Corner: The Final Countdown
last days before book launch
Well folks, there are sixteen days separating me from the beginning of my book tour.
I have been in hyper planning mode. Packing my suitcases, deciding what I’m gonna bring, figuring out what I want to do with my apartment while I’m gone. I’ll be on the road (or in the skies) officially from March 1-10, which is the longest I’ve spent away from my new home, so definitely feeling antsy and paranoid about that!
More than anything though, I’m so excited, so in awe, so grateful. My GoFundMe has raised $3050, which means we have about $1000 left to meet my goal. So many of you have given so much already, and I live with so much gratitude for that.
I wanted to shout out my biggest donors, but most gave anonymously so I won’t. You know who you are though, and I love you dearly. I have one finally plea though, because there are still $1000 left to raise, I ask that you consider sharing my fundraiser or giving again, but this time, a small amount.
I need to raise about $65 a day to meet my goal, so I ask that 10 people give $7 each day. I think that’s a very fair and doable amount. My Instagram, where I do most of my campaigning, is at 3400 followers, which means less than 10% of followers would have to give for me to meet my goal. This combined with your help and I think we can make it!
